The nose is powerful, aromatic, elegant and offers intensity as well as a small complexity. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet, cassis and slight notes of fleshy raspberry associated with a touch of Cuben pepper, slight hints of flowers as well as a racy minerality. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, gourmand and offers juiciness, suavity, a slight depthness as well as a beautiful definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blueberry, Quetsche plum and small notes of Bigarreau cherry associated with touches of strawberry, fleshy cherry, touches of dark chocolate, caramelized oak/ vanilla, a very discreet hint of black olive as well as an imperceptible touch of orange and spices. Tannins are fine and very slightly firm. A beautiful and promising wine!
