The nose is fruity, aromatic and offers a certain complexity as well as a small gourmand side. It reveals notes of fleshy/crushed redcurrants, roasted cherries and small notes of cornflowers associated with touches of blackberries, wild strawberries as well as fine, almost lily-like hints and a very discreet hint of fresh nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers freshness, minerality, tension, a certain precision, density, a quite tight side as well as a fresh frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of creamy cherry, crushed blackcurrant and small notes of violet associated with touches of small crushed/quite ripe small red fruits, slight hints of plum blossom, cardamom as well as a subtle hint of cloves and a very discreet hint of sense of place. Tannins are well managed. Presence of fine patina in the background as well as a very discreet hint of balsamic and fresh leather. A terra cotta side.
