Fongoli 2012 – Montefalco Sagrantino

Fongoli 2012 – Montefalco Sagrantino

\The nose is aromatic, racy and offers a certain intensity as well as freshness. It reveals notes of ripe blackberry, fairly ripe strawberry and small notes of small red fruits associated with touches of fresh leather, cardamom as well as a hint of graphite, smoke and a very discreet hint of vanilla. The palate is mineral, well-balanced, a bit tight and offers a fresh frame as well as a fine stretched side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of blackberry, quite ripe small red fruits and small notes of dried flowers associated with touches of Terra Cota as well as patina/balsamic or even milky hints.
