Florès – Le picpoul de pinot sélection 2021 – AOP Picpoul de Pinet

The wine has a limpid and brilliant pale yellow color. On the nose the wine is fruity and warm, solar with an intense aromatic expression. There are notes of yellow peach in syrup, juicy apricot and pineapple. We perceive a racy minerality with fine touches of white smoke and petrol which add to the complexity of this seemingly simple wine. The palate is fresh with a marked acidulous structure. There is fruit, spices, dynamism in this wine. There are notes of green pineapple, yellow peach, lemon blossom, juicy pear as well as fine touches of sweet spices which continue in a finish with a hint of salt and a slight bitterness.
