The mouth is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, suavity, a certain gourmandize, a small straightness, a juicy/acidulous frame as well as a small tension/concentration and a tannic structure a little tight. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright blueberry, small notes of juicy/pulpy strawberry associated with touches of crushed redcurrant, cornflower, lilac, bourbon vanilla pod, fine hints of liquorish stick, bergamot and an imperceptible hint of Voatsiperifery pepper. Good length. The tannins are mellow. A fine hint of coffee/torrefaction in the finish/in the background.
