Fleur de Fonplegade 2019 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is elegant, full and offers little intensity as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of fresh Boysenberry / blackberry, cassis and more lightly small bright red currents associated with touches of violets, lilies, salinity as well as a discreet hint of fresh blond tobacco. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, a tangy frame, minerality, good definition, a certain gourmandize as well as a little stretched side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy / pulpy blackberry, crushed cassis and more slightly bright raspberry associated with touches of racy minerality, salinity, blond tobacco as well as hints of caramelization and a subtle notes of almond. Tannins are precise, fine and racy. Good length.
