The wine has an intense and vivid ruby colour. The nose is intense and spicy, revealing notes of black fruits like blackberries and bramble, supported by powerful nuances of cinnamon and cloves. The palate shows exuberant fruit concentration, a lot of power, refreshing acidity and bold, velvety and fine-grained tannins. The wine offers notes of ripe bramble, a touch of jammed black currant, intense notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and cedar wood, all in a good balance. The finish reveals a delicate bitterness. A powerful wine with good ageing potential.
