Feudo Principi di Butera – Deliella 2017 – Sicilia DOC

The nose is pretty, elegant, precise, frank and offers a lovely grain that is precise, frank, stretched and intense. It also presents depth and subtlety in its power. It reveals notes of kirsch cherry, small roasted-elegant red berries, as well as small brilliant black fruits, associated with touches of juniper berry, fine hints of thyme, balsamic, a discreet hint of sweet pepper, a hint of black olive, as well as an elegant darkness. The palate is well-built, delicate, supple and airy in its richness. It offers a sumptuously, gourmand, unctuous, delicate and perfectly balanced texture, with no heaviness despite its power/richness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of roasted-elegant black cherry, violet plum, small roasted-elegant red fruits and small notes of cornflower, combined with touches of thyme, small red fruits with kirsch, as well as hints of crushed strawberry, chocolate, tobacco, sage, roasted hazelnut and a subtle hint of vanilla. Richness and gourmandise, with a lovely graininess.
