Feudo Montoni – Vrucara 2020 – Sicilia DOC

The nose is elegant, racy, frank and offers a lovely intensity of grain, finesse, a stretch, fragrance and depth side, complexity, intensity and depth. It reveals notes of roasted-elegant red cherry, wild blueberry and small notes of small, concentrated and fairly ripe red berries, associated with touches of lily, fine hints of fairly ripe strawberry, as well as touches of cornflower, star anise, nutmeg, black olive, dark chocolate and beautiful, delicate spices. The palate is well-built, supple, fresh, mineral, elegant, racy and delicate. It offers a lovely suppleness, roundness, gourmandise, good definition, accuracy and a tangy frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy black cherry, roasted-elegant strawberry and small notes of crushed blueberry and juicy blue plum, combined with touches of small roasted fruit, infusion, black olive, racy freshness/sense of the place, as well as hints of cornflower, infusion, black tea, bergamot, a subtle hint almost of fresh balsamic and fine touches of toasted hazelnut. Good length and definition. The frame is tangy and gourmand, with an elegant, just-right creaminess.
