The nose is fruity, elegant, frank, racy and offers good structure and definition. It reveals notes of pulpy/ripe black cherry, almost roasted-juicy, violet and small notes of Sichuan pepper, associated with touches of juniper berry, fine hints of small wild red fruits, as well as delicate hints of cocoa nibs, smoke and tobacco. The palate is well-built, fresh, supple, it offers lovely energy, a tangy frame, good definition, accuracy and gourmandise. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, small black berries and small notes of small elegant red berries, combined with touches of violet, small local flowers, as well as hints of sense of the place, tonka bean, racy soil and small concentrated blue berries. Good length. The tannins are precise, mellow, racy, gourmand and nicely sapid. Beautiful freshness and juiciness. Good persistence of +8 caudalies.
