The nose is fresh, racy, elegant and offers just the right concentration. There are notes of fresh cherry, crushed blackberry and, to a lesser extent, pulpy plum, combined with hints of liquorice, local violet flowers and a discreet touch of pepper. The palate is fruity, balanced and reveals minerality, juiciness, a nice finesse in its concentration as well as an acidic backbone. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, concentrated blackcurrant small notes of violet notes combined with hints of local violet flowers, zan/bergamot, purple plum as well as a subtle hint of tonka bean/dried almond and a very discreet hint of cocoa in the background. Good length. Nice sweetness and sapidity on the finish/persistence.
