Feudi del Pisciotto – Nero d’Avola Feudi del Pisciotto 2021 – Terre Siciliane IGT

The nose is spicy and reveals some power, fine grain and depth. There are notes of blackcurrant, violet and, to a lesser extent, violet plum, combined with hints of Madagascar pepper, tobacco, spice and discreet hints of black olive. The palate is mineral, balanced and offers tension, juiciness, a slightly tight structure and a certain dynamism. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, juicy/pulpy violet plum small notes of juicy red berry notes combined with hints of violet, pepper as well as fine nutmeg and a subtle almost vanilla touch. Tannins are racy and finely mellow. Good length. Nice acidic persistence.
