The nose is powerful, elegant, mineral / racy and offers a slight intensity. It reveals notes of cassis, boysenberry and wild strawberry combined with slight touches of olive tree / eucalyptus as well as discreet touches of Timut pepper, wild red berries and discreet touches of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well built and offers gourmandise, fat, a slight mineral frame as well as suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / fleshy blackberry, crushed cassis, fresh raspberry and crushed plum associated with slight touches of small red berries, cherry, chocolate / tonka bean, wood as well as slight / discreet touches of tobacco (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of almond (in the background). Tannins are very fine and very slightly dry. Good length.
