The nose is fruity, fine and offers intensity. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, flowers and small notes of strawberry, cassis associated with a hint of Lapsang Souchong tea, garrigue / thyme as well as discreet toasted touches and incense / spices. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, well-built and offers a slight tension, a slight fresh frame as well as a slight acidity (in the background). On the palate this Porto expresses notes of black cherry, crushed blackberry and crushed cassis combined with slight touches of blueberry, chocolate, caramelization as well as subtle touches of sweet spices / nutmeg and an imperceptible touch of cardamom. Tannins are well built.
