The wine shows a medium ruby garnet colour. The nose is dense, heady, promising a lot of concentration and power. It opens up with notes of ripe, almost overripe black cherries, noble oak, cigar box, a touch of cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. The palate is dense and coating with powerful, but suave and round tannins. The wine is bursting with notes of dried cherries, some cooked strawberries, roasted raspberries, notes of sweet spices and dried herbs. The finish is elegant, lingering with pronounced fruitiness and pleasant spiciness.
