The wine has a brilliant ruby color, of medium intensity. The first nose expresses racy minerality (limestone), notes of dried aromatic herbs (thyme, rosemary, Mediterranean herbs, dried mint), a delicate spicy touch (clove, liquorice, cumin), a hint of dried rose and fresh black olive, combined with fruity notes of bigarreau cherry, morello cherry, strawberry, blueberry, crushed blackcurrant, cranberries. The palate offers accuracy, juiciness and fresh fruitiness, associated with a well-built, powdery, fine-grained tannic structure. We find the flavors of fresh and dried red cherry, fresh morello cherry, strawberry, crushed blueberry and raspberry, associated with a slightly drying limestone minerality on the finish, with herbaceous nuances (dried thyme, dried rosemary, bay leaf) and floral hints (dried rose, a touch of violet). The finish offers a slightly drying tannins, balanced by a crunchy acidity and a good bitterness.
