Fattoria La Rivolta – Terra di Rivolta 2015 Riserva – Aglianico del Taburno DOCG

The nose is fruity, racy and offers gourmandize, a certain aromatic purity. It reveals notes of pulpy blackberry, blueberry, small notes of smoke associated with small touches of cocoa, dry mud, nutmeg, redcurrant as well as fine hints of cherry seed, spices, rosemary and a discreet hint of mild tobacco. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers freshness, a juicy/acidulous frame as well as a fine incisive side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of acidulous cassis, acidulous/juicy blackberry, small notes of acidulous violet plum associated with touches of bright blueberry, lily/lilac, rosemary, mild tobacco as well as a hint of dry mud and cocoa. Tannins are well-built.
