(organic) The wine has a pale ruby color, with garnet reflections. The nose is fragrant, finely spicy and toasted, with enveloped tertiary notes. It expresses the aromas of dried strawberry, dried red cherry, dried raspberry, raspberry coulis, fresh morello cherry, wild strawberry, red currant, elderberry syrup, combined with notes of liquorice, cloves, nutmeg, slight notes of undergrowth (with a touch of mushrooms), wet leaves and leather in the background, wilted rose, dried peony, as well as infused black tea, tobacco, dried mint and dry pine needles. There is also a touch of coffee, bitter almond and cocoa in the background. The mouth is melted, round and gourmand. It expresses notes of crushed strawberry, strawberry jam, dried red cherry, cherry jam, fresh morello cherry, raspberry coulis, red currant jelly, combined with notes of nutmeg, liquorice, cloves, fresh tobacco, infused black tea, wilted rose, peony, as well as undergrowth, damp leaves and leather in the background. The tannins are very fine, melted and almost imperceptible. Beautiful salivating acidity, a fairly persistent finish with a good bitterness of cocoa and coffee.
