The nose is spicy and racy. There are notes of ripe wild fruit and a touch of tobacco. On the palate the wine offers fat, fullness, a slight silkiness as well as a mineral structure. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, small crushed red berries and smal notes of tobacco leaf associated with hints of star anise, discreet hints of undergrowth as well as slight hints of camphor, spices and a hint of cinnamon. Tannins are well-built.
