Fattori – 2015 Riserva – Amarone della Valpolicella

The nose offers elegance as well as deepness and a beautiful gourmand/definition. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of pulpy blue plum, cornflower, small notes of strawberry associated with small touches of blueberry as well as small hints of lilac, toasted/caramelization, discreet hints of toasted hazelnut, brioche, a very discreet hint of vanilla flower and an imperceptible hint of Badiane. The palate is elegant, gourmand and offers a beautiful definition, delicacy, a beautiful precision, a very beautiful balance as well as suavity, fullness and a small fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, juicy blueberry, small notes of fleshy/juicy strawberry associated with small touches of cherry jam, liquorice stick, vanilla pod as well as very discreet hints of tonka bean, Badiane, lilac and caramelization. Good length.
