The nose has a patina with a fine hint of Sichuan pepper, tea and camphor. The palate is fruity with juiciness and a nice acidity. It is fleshy and fresh on the fruit. There is energy and a certain purity. There are notes of bright red berries, dried violet plums and a hint of tobacco combined with hints of saffron flowers and a touch of mocha, tobacco and toasted almonds. There is a discreet sapidity in the background. The tannins are good. There is good length.
