The nose is fruity, fresh, elegant, generous and relatively powerful. It reveals notes of blackberry and cassis associated with touches of blackberry jam, blueberry, liquorice, black cherry as well as hints of black tea and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well-structured, relatively powerful, a bit aerial and offers a beautiful finesse, a nice acid frame, a beautiful harmony, fat, a beautiful freshness, precision, tension, minerality and a beautiful matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, cassis jelly and touches of raspberry, red cherry associated with small touches of fresh fruit as well as fine notes of dark chocolate, toasted oak and discreet hints of licorice. Tannins are fine and velvety. Good length and good persistence.
