The nose is fruity, a bit closed and beautifully gourmand. It reveals notes of wild blackberries, cassis and small wild berries associated with slight hints of grove, red fruits, discreet hints of liquorice as well as subtle touches of violet, cornflower, subtle / discreet hint of spices and a very discreet hint of caramelization. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, beautifully silky and offers gourmandise, a nice juiciness, a beautiful definition, depthness, a beautiful fruit, power (but well controlled) as well as a slight tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, fleshy plum and slight touches of crunchy strawberry associated with slight touches of spices, subtle touches of toasted oak as well as a very discreet hint of vanilla and caramelization (on the finish). Tannins are fine and supple. Good length.
