The nose is fruity and a slightly rich. It reveals notes of cassis jam, blackberry, slight notes of chocolate and discreet notes of red berries (in the background) associated with small notes of liquorice, caramelized oak as well as an imperceptible hint of iodine minerality in the background. The palate is fruity, fat, slightly gourmand and offers a slight suavity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry jam, crushed cassis and slight notes of strawberry associated with hints of toasted oak as well as hints of mocha. Tannins are slightly dry/over-extracted. Good length.
