The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose offers concentration, a distinct spiciness, associated with herbal, floral notes and a racy minerality, reminiscent of tar and salinity. The first nose expresses the aromas of fresh strawberry, juicy red cherry, wild raspberry, blackcurrant and fresh cherry in the background. The second nose, we find notes of crushed cardamom, liquorice, white pepper, fresh pine needles, dried pine needles, pine bark, as well as a touch of toasted almond, coffee and flowers (rose, violet, lily). The palate is very fresh, juicy and fruity, with a pleasant bitterness reminiscent of citrus fruits (grapefruit, bergamot with its smoky side). On the attack, we also smell sour red cherry, sour strawberry, raspberry and blueberry. The mid-palate offers herbal notes (dried mint, dried pine needles), spicy (cardamom, liquorice, white pepper), as well as floral (rose, lily). The good bitterness, as well as a hint of minerality and roasting (coffee, toasted almond), return on the persistence. Good length, on the gourmandise and the fresh and tangy side of red cherry, and a lively acidity. Tannins are firm, but not drying, with a fine grain.
