The wine has a deep ruby color. The nose offers juiciness, freshness and gourmandise. It expresses notes of fresh blackcurrant, morello cherry, raspberry, strawberry, blueberry and red cherry, associated with a fragrant floral bouquet (violet, fresh rose, cornflower), as well as a spicy touch of licorice, nutmeg, ground white pepper and wild mint. The palate is chiselled, fresh and juicy. It expresses notes of tart red cherry, strawberry, red currant, raspberry, blackcurrant and morello cherry, combined with notes of wild mint, blackcurrant leaf, licorice, nutmeg and flowers (violet, peony). The tannins are firm, a little dry at the beginning, balanced by a lively acidity. Good persistence on the tanginess.
