Esprit de Pavie 2018 – Bordeaux

The nose is fruity, mineral and offers a small concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, black cherry and small notes of blackberry associated with a hint of flowers as well as very slight hints of zan. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, a bit tight and offers a good definition, tension, a fine gourmandise, a fine juiciness as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy blackberry, fleshy / juicy cassis and small notes of fleshy / juicy wild strawberry associated with a touch of black cherry as well as with slight hints of zan and a discreet hint of mocha. Tannins are slightly firm. There are very slight hints of toasted almond on the finish / persistence.
