Esprit de Chevalier 2022 – Pessac-Léognan

The nose is fresh, tangy and airy. It expresses notes of lime, yellow lemon, green apple, tangy stone fruits (apricot, white peach), a very light touch of fresh hazelnut, toasted hazelnut, white flowers (acacia, apricot and apple blossoms in the background), a hint of juicy pineapple, honey, butter and lemon yogurt in the background. The palate is straight, chiseled, fresh, with notes of lime, yellow lemon on the attack, then complemented by a good bitterness of grapefruit and almond in the background, by a hint of fresh hazelnut, a delicate touch of toasted hazelnut, citrus zest and stone fruits, acacia and apple blossom. Beautiful salivating acidity and good bitterness. A precise, straight, fresh wine.
