The nose is closed at first, but offers gourmandise and juicy fruits after aeration. It expresses notes of ripe wild strawberry, crushed cassis, morello cherry, roasted and jammy red cherry, associated with a good bitterness of cocoa, almond and coffee, spicy notes of liquorice, a hint of dried vanilla and white pepper as well as a pleasant touch of peony after aeration. The palate is juicy, airy, gourmand and fresh, with juicy fruits on the attack (ripe wild strawberry, crushed cassis, morello cherry, roasted red cherry), a fine bitterness of bird cherry as well as a herbaceous hint of dried mint, gourmandise of liquorice, dark chocolate and coffee on the persistence.
