Eric Louis Sancerre 2023 – Sancerre

(organic) The wine has a pale lemon yellow color. The nose is airy and tangy. It expresses notes of lemon zest, lemon juice, gooseberries, white currants, as well as green apple, apple blossom and a hint of linden honey. After aeration, we also find a slight salinity and a mineral texture. The palate offers precision, freshness and tanginess of citrus fruits on the attack (lime, lemon zest), associated with flavors of green apple, green plum, a touch of apple blossom and lime blossom. The chalky and slightly drying minerality, as well as a honeyed touch appear on the finish. Good persistence, fresh and gourmand, with notes of passion fruit and lime zest, with a slight bitterness.
