The nose is fruity, juicy and offers freshness as well as a good aromatic purity. It reveals notes of black cherry, cassis and small notes of liquorice associated with touches of crushed red berries, wild raspberry as well as discreet hints of spices, tobacco and pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful precision/definition, tension, a good structure, an acidulous frame as well as straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, blackberry and small notes of juicy/crunchy red berries, fleshy wild strawberry associated with fine touches of chocolate, liquorice, chocolate square and fine hints of crushed almond/hazelnut. Tannins are well-built. A fine chew on the finish. A beautiful gourmand wine!
