The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is reserved, finely tight, but opens up after aeration. It expresses notes of morello cherry, red cherry, crushed raspberry, red plum, strawberry, as well as a hint of liquorice, toasted hazelnut, toasted wood, violet, blackcurrant bud in the background and nutmeg. The palate offers a delicate toasted touch (toasted hazelnut, toasted wood) on the attack, which is complemented by sweet spices (licorice, white pepper) and a tangy and juicy fruity substance (red cherry, morello cherry, fresh wood, raspberry, red currant), with a slight herbaceous and bitter toasted touch on the persistence. The tannins are fine and tight. The finish is quite long, with a touch of tangy red cherry and a good bitterness.
