Teroldego 100%, old pergola-trellised vines of 70 years of average age. The wine shows a deep ruby, still youthful and vivid. The nose is herbaceous, minty, revealing notes of black cherries, blackberries, bramble, complicated by a hint of smoke and delicate roasted meat notes. The palate is intense and concentrated, offering a lot of freshness, crunchy, youthful acidity, balancing the high alcohol, bold, sticky tannins and fluid, athletic body. The wine still seems young and vibrant, has potential for further ageing.
