This wine is made with 100% of Malvasia and blended with several vintages (1956, 1970 and 1997). The nose expresses notes of candied orange, notes of orange blossom, raisins and slightly nuts. The palate is fruity, slightly spicy, complex, fresh and well balanced. It reveals notes of raisins, dried citrus and candied orange peel. Also a very slight hint of liquorice and small spices in mouth. Good length. Mild acid frame leads the tasting.
