The nose is fresh, fruity, racy, precise with a fine and elegant grain and some incisive or even tense character. There are notes of crunchy blackcurrant, crushed blueberry and, more slightly, star anise, combined with touches of blueberry, crushed redcurrant and hints of sweet, almost seductive spices. The palate is mineral with a fresh structure, juiciness, accuracy, roundness and some fat. There are notes of juicy, plump cherries, blueberries and more slightly violets combined with touches of racy minerality, juicy, plump redcurrants and fine hints of star anise and a subtle, almost sappy note. The tannins are supple and well-mannered and there is a very discreet, almost vanilla note in the background. This wine has a nice freshness and minerality, with a good sapid and juicy persistence.
