The nose is fresh and powerful with some intensity and delicacy at the same time in its grain. There are floral notes of peony, fresh lily and more slightly grey pepper combined with hints of pulpy purple plums, crushed blackberries. There is a hint of juicy strawberry as well as discreet notes of fresh cloves. The palate is fruity with acidity and precision, tension and bite. The acidic frame is discreetly tight with notes of crunchy blackberry, peony, lily and more slightly crunchy red berry combined with a touch of fresh crunchy plum as well as hints of dried almonds, sweet blond oak and a discreet pepper note. This is a fruity wine that flirts with the varietal bringing dynamism. The tannins are elegant and smooth. There is good length.
