The nose offers complexity as well as a fine, elegant austerity. The wine benefits from decanting. We find notes of boysenberry, violet and more lightly, pulpy/fresh cherry associated with touches of fresh flowers, fresh tobacco, graphene as well as a hint of roasted-elegant fruit. The palate is well-built, supple, fresh, elegant and racy, offering tension, accuracy, purity as well as a certain bright of fruit. Nicely fresh and mineral. On the palate, notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, violet and more lightly, small elegant-roasted red berries associated with beautiful sappy/fresh floral touches, as well as fine hints of Cubebe pepper and gravelly hints. Tannins are finely tight. Good length.
