The nose is fine and slightly powerful. It reveals notes of fresh/ripe blackberry and slight notes of racy minerality (terroir) associated with slight woody notes as well as slight notes of flowers (iris, violet). The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers minerality, a beautiful freshness, fat, suavity as well as a beautiful acid frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of ripe/fresh redcurrant and fresh raspberry associated with slight notes of cassis, oak, chocolate as well as a discreet hint of cardamom and a hint of pepper. Tannins are fine, quite tight and polished. Good length.
