The nose is fruity, elegant and offers a very fine creaminess, a small richness as well as a fine freshness. It reveals notes of fresh/fleshy blackberry, fleshy strawberry, small notes of bigarreau cherry associated with touches of crushed redcurrant, pink laurel, liquorice stick, hints of sweet spices as well as fine hints of tobacco and a racy minerality. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, a good definition, gourmandize, a certain suavity, structure as well as a small creaminess. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/pulpy cherry, crushed strawberry, small notes of juicy/fresh plum associated with touches of violet, cherry blossom, lily, liquorice as well as hints of chocolate, tonka bean, black olive, minerality, pink laurel as well as discreet hints of sage and toasted hazelnut/sweet spices. Tannins are structuring. Good length.
