On the nose it is fruity and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of blueberry, crushed cherry and more slightly fleshy wild strawberry associated with fine touches of wild plum, fine hints of star anise / local grove and a discreet hint of pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity and offers minerality, a tangy structure and juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / luscious blackberry, blueberry and more lightly cornflowers associated with touches of bright small blue fruits, fleshy / luscious raspberry as well as fine hints of licorice and chocolate. The tannins are racy, structuring and very discreetly marked. A nice savory persistence and a fine chewiness.
