The nose is fruity, a bit powerful and offers a slight concentration as well as a good structure. It reveals notes of blackberry, wild cassis and small notes of small wild berries associated with slight touches of crushed raspberry, scrubland as well as discreet hints of pepper. The mouth is fresh, fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, fleshiness, roundness, a mineral frame, a small gourmand side, a good structure, a good matter as well as fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, crushed raspberry and small notes of fleshy blackberry associated with small touches of small wild berries, hints of tonka bean, toasted oak, licorice as well as discreet hints of caramelization, coffee and a hint of cedar wood. Tannins are fine, elegant and well-built. There are notes of dark chocolate / cocoa bean on the persistence.
