The nose is aromatic, relatively gourmand and offers opulence. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and fine / discreet notes of bell pepper combined with touches of spice, licorice as well as slight notes of sour cherry, black cherry jam and touches of zan. The palate is fruity, racy, elegant, sleek and offers minerality, a fine acid frame, a nice harmony as well as a beautiful silky, voluminous and fleshy matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy cassis, cherry, blackberry and fine notes of blueberry associated with a hint of violet, a discreet touch of bell pepper as well as fine notes of juicy black cherry and caramelized oak on the finish. Tannins are fine and elegant. Good length and aromatic persistence.
