Donnafugata – Contesa dei Venti 2020 – Vittoria DOC

The nose is fresh and racy. There are notes of fresh violets, fresh wild plums small notes of red fruits combined with fine touches of pepper and a hint of varietal aromas. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, balanced and offers a juicy/acidic backbone, good definition, acidity and a little crunch. On the palate this wine expresses notes of violet, fresh plum small notes of of local wild flowers combined with hints of sour/candied red berries, a fine varietal quality, discreet pepper hints and a subtle note of olive and racy minerality. Tannins are precise. Good length.
