DonnaFugata – Chiarandà 2022 – Doc Contessa Entellina

The nose is fruity, fresh, elegant, airy, finely chiseled, and offers a nice sharp edge. It reveals notes of crushed apple, bright nectarine, and small notes of kumquat/sweet citrus combined with fine hints of peach blossom, zest, racy minerality and a discreet hint of hazelnut and salted butter. The palate is fruity, elegant and offers a certain richness, roundness, precision, sapidity as well as a certain pulpiness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy nectarine, mandarin, and small notes of fleshy apple combined with touches of ripe orange and a subtle hint of zest, flowers, and fresh hazelnut.
