The nose is fruity, aromatic, racy and offers intensity, a certain concentration as well as a small silky sensation. It reveals notes of bright black plum, small pulpy black berries, small notes of cherry associated with fine touches of raspberry, juicy/fresh cassis as well as hints of camphor, cocoa, toasted, nutmeg and a hint of vanilla/dry almond. The palate is fruity, finely tight and offers gourmandize, suavity as well as a fine richness, a small tension, a fine acidulous frame, a certain harmony, a small racy minerality, a fine grain and a good structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cassis, violet plum, small notes of violet, camphor associated with touches of black cherry, thyme flowers as well as fine hints of raspberry, cornflower, cocoa, toasted, cardamom, a subtle hint of toasted hazelnut. Tannins are precise and very finely firm. Good length.
