The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful acidulous frame, a fine tension, a beautiful juiciness, gourmandize as well as a racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/acidulous cassis, juicy/acidulous blackberry and small notes of violet associated with fine touches of plum, juicy/acidulous wild raspberry as well as discreet hints of liquorice, chocolate and tonka bean. Tannins are racy. The finish is very discreetly tight. Good persistence. There is a hint of chocolate on the persistence as well as an imperceptible hint of hazelnut on the aftertaste.
