The nose is fruity, gourmand and offers elegance, a slight minerality as well as a very slight tight grain. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry, and small notes of ripe black plum associated with touches of Sichuan pepper, violet, small berry, racy minerality as well as discreet hints of Sichuan pepper, spices, Zan, an imperceptible hint of tobacco and black olive. The palate is juicy, well-balanced and offers gourmandise, a good definition, a good suavity, juiciness, precision, a slight tension as well as a mineral frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, small black berries and small notes of black cherry associated with small touches of fleshy raspberry, fleshy black plum as well as discreet hints of olive tree/ local vegetation, mocha / chocolate, spices, a very discreet hint of mocha and caramelization (in the background). Tannins are well-built. Good length. Good persistence. There is a very discreet hint of undergrowth, chocolate, tobacco and caramelization on the persistence.
