Don Jacobo – Cosecha 2015 – Rioja

(Viticultura ecologica) The nose is fine, fruity and quite elegant. It reveals notes of boysenberry, fig and cassis associated with fine touches of wild strawberry, fine notes of liquorice as well as a discreet note of chocolate. The palate is fruity, silky, racy, relatively gourmande and offers juiciness, fat, a good volume as well as an acid / mineral frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, plum and slight notes of blueberry associated with touches of wild strawberry, fine notes of licorice and a discreet hint of black olive. Tannins are fine and slightly dry. Good length. There are discreet notes of raspberry balsamic on the finish / persistence.
