On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / acidulous raspberry, juicy / acidulous cherry and small notes of juicy / fresh Quetsche plum associated with a hint of juicy / fresh cassis, nutmeg, sweet spices, a very discreet a hint of black olive as well as an imperceptible hint of laurel berries (in the background), liquorice and vanilla bean (in the background).
