The nose is aromatic and offers a small concentration, freshness, a very fine varietal hint as well as a very fine and finely powdery grain. It reveals notes of fresh raspberry, small ripe wild currants and small notes of lilac, local scrubland associated with touches of blackberry, fine touches of eucalyptus, sage as well as discreet hints of pepper and nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a little fat, freshness, gourmandize, suavity, a certain roundness, tension as well as sapidity/suavity (in the background). On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy blackberry, small red currants and more slightly fresh flowers associated with scrubland, crushed cassis, hints of tobacco, with fine hints of nutmeg as well as a discreet hint of grey pepper, coffee (in the background) and an imperceptible citrus hint (in the background). Tannins are precise and fine. Good length.
